Tennacity is an inclusive and vibrant tennis lifestyle brand and company started by former #1 player in the USA, Josh Osswald. Tennacity offers energizing and up-tempo programming including "Tennacity Workouts," facility management, unique live events, tournaments, lessons, and camps for players of all levels. Tennacity has been featured at DesertSmash with Serena Williams, Malibu Racquet Club, and at numerous ITA, ATP, and WTA professional events such as the BNP Paribas in Indian Wells. Josh Osswald was an ATP ranked player, national champion, and musician who has performed at numerous West Hollywood venues, studio recordings on a Bob Dylan album, and has featured John McEnroe in his band.
16 years ago Josh moved to West Hollywood from Cincinnati and found himself walking to Plummer Park the next day. He is thrilled to come full circle with a staff of professionals that include Road To Pro founder, Sky Kim, and to operate both the Plummer Park and West Hollywood Park locations. We invite you to explore our website where you can learn about our staff and partners, find online advanced court bookings, information on tennis lessons, apparel, and general news concerning tennis programming. Please sign up and create a profile if you haven't already! We encourage all players to create a UTR profile so that we may place you into various classes. Josh and the tennacity staff look forward to a long and productive relationship with the City of West Hollywood and live to serve the unique and creative tennis-playing citizenry.
Instructional programming will be limited during Covid-19 restrictions and many affordable playing options are available. We are currently working on renovations to the tennis retail shop at Plummer Park and gathering public support for facility improvements there and at West Hollywood Park. Please fill out our brief survey here and be heard! All tennis play and instruction will be safely administered under LA County guidelines.
